Carmen Galera is a distribution manager and film curator with a degree in cinema from Université Lumière Lyon II in France. With experience in communications at the Lumière Institute and volunteering at festivals in France and Switzerland, she worked at Pagu Pictures and, during the pandemic, programmed the Varilux 1 Festival and assisted director Walter Salles. Recently, she programmed the 8 1/2 Italian Film Festival, the Bonfilm films and took care of the National Preview of the Bonito CineSur 2024 Festival.
