Susanna Lira is a filmmaker, with a postgraduate degree in Philosophy, International Law and Human Rights. She is a Master's student in Psychoanalysis.  She has directed 18 feature films and dozens of short films and series, accumulating more than 120 awards at festivals in Brazil and abroad. Her works were exhibited in special exhibitions dedicated to her career in Chile, Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil. She was a judge at the Emmy Awards in 2023 and a finalist for Best Latin American Fiction Director at the Produ Awards (Mexico).
