Ane Siderman

Ane Siderman (1984) is a native of Uruguaiana, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, a city that borders Uruguay and Argentina. She is the daughter of a Brazilian mother and an Argentinian father, an international co-production. She has been living in Porto Alegre since 2011.

She began working with audiovisual production at a production company in Florianópolis in 2002 and started her studies in Cinema and Video at Unisul. She graduated in Film Direction from the Fundación Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires, where she worked and lived for 6 years. She specialized in acting direction at CFP-SICA, the Actor’s Studio of Buenos Aires, Studio Fátima Toledo, and Studio Joy Morris.

She has directed 15 short films, including "Abelardo" (2012), which participated in 47 festivals and received 3 awards, and "Gotas de Fumaça" (2013), which participated in 117 festivals, winning 33 awards.

Her first feature film, "Verona" (2021), was screened at 129 festivals and received 93 awards, 25 of which were for best direction.

She is currently developing the fiction series "Difama" and the feature film "Limiar" as a screenwriter/showrunner.

She is the executive producer of the feature films "A Banda" and "A Fazenda Colonial" (Panda Filmes), "Àrea de Risco" (Cinelari Produções), "Além de Nós" (Atama Filmes), "Crisálida" and "Estranho Amor" (Visom Digital), "Aba Larga" and "Segredos" (Ruschel Produções), in addition to the series "Estranho Amor", "Mais Presença de Villa-Lobos", and "Bossa Nossa" (Visom Digital).

As a producer, in the development and consultancy of audiovisual projects, she is working on the series: "A História do Bodydoard", "EnTourNo", "Rock, Surf e Cangurus", "Esquadrão UFO", "Comer, Beber e Aprender", "Afrogames"; and the feature films: "Perseguição e Cerco a Juvêncio Gutierrez" (Walper Ruas Produções), "Toque de Recolher" (FM Produções), "Nós a Sós" (Proa e Popa Produções), "O Carnaval de Jack" and "Esquinas Descoloridas".

She has participated in 40 short films and more than 45 features/series, working in the following roles:
