Cécile Sorin is a Professor of Cinema at Paris 8 University, and the author of books on parody and pastiche in cinema, with a focus on Pasolini. Her research explores subjectivization in cinema, contemporary French cinema, and ecosophy. She is a member of the Arts, écologies, transitions collective and co-organizes an inter-university criticism seminar.
