Dan co-founded Blink Films in 2007.  Since then, Blink has become one of the UK's leading specialist factual companies.   Shows in 2024 include Crash Test (Nova, C4), Fred and Rose West: A British Horror Story (Netflix), Terror on the Space Station (Nova, France 5), Colosseum Rise and Fall (Nat Geo, WNET), Disaster Autopsy (Nat Geo, Blue Ant), Wimbledon Killer (Amazon).

Previously, Dan was the science commissioner at C4, and then programme head at Channel 5
