Speaker Daniel Dias

Daniel Dias holds a post-graduate degree (MFA) in screenwriting from the U.S. with a Fulbright/Capes scholarship and is a co-founder of the New Voices Program, which is aimed at underrepresented voices and sponsored by Fulbright, the U.S. Embassy, Spcine, and Projeto Paradiso. Clarissa directed the feature film A Casa de Cecília (Cecilia's House) (Tiradentes, 2018), and Daniel is the screenwriter for Nosso Sonho (Our Dream), the highest-grossing Brazilian film of 2023. A Herança de Narcisa (Narcisa's Inheritance) is the duo's first feature film.
