With over 30 years dedicated to cultural management, she was the State Secretary of Culture of Minas Gerais, presided over the Clóvis Salgado Foundation, and directed the Usiminas Cultural Institute and the Culture area of Sesc in Minas. A postgraduate professor, she holds a degree in Social Communication, with specializations from Fundação Getulio Vargas, PUC Minas, and Fundação Dom Cabral.
She is currently the Secretary of Culture of Belo Horizonte and presides over the National Forum of Secretaries of Culture of Capitals and Associated Municipalities.
