She is an activist in the fight for human rights, youth, the democratization of communication, anti-racism, feminism, occupations, and the right to housing. She is the author of the book Mobilização e Censura: a luta por liberdade de expressão na favela da Maré (Mobilization and Censorship: the fight for freedom of expression in the Maré favela). She is a human rights militant. She works on the Human Rights Commission of ALERJ (Rio de Janeiro State Legislative Assembly) and also with the Marielle Franco Favelas Dictionary (Dicionário de Favelas Marielle Franco).
