She is a Kenyan educator and activist, founder of Kakenya's Dream and the Kakenya Center for Excellence, a school for girls in Enoosaen. A Doctor of Education, she fights against female genital mutilation (FGM) and forced marriages, promoting education and empowerment for rural communities in Kenya.
