History professor with a 40-year history of defending human rights. He was a federal deputy and twice winner of the Congresso em Foco award for best parliamentarian. Born in São Gonçalo and raised in the suburbs of Niterói, he was a state deputy in Rio de Janeiro for 3 terms, with a prominent role in the Militia and Arms Trafficking CPIs. Among the hallmarks of his management at Embratur are the priority on sustainability, innovation and the promotion of audiovisual as a tool to promote tourism.
