Speaker Patu Schneidewind

Patú Maruê Schneidewind. Filmmaker and human rights activist with over 15 years of experience, specializing in the audiovisual as a collective tool for artistic activism. Born recurrent of refuge in East Germany, Patú is a trans non-binary migrant and co-founder of Territórios Fluidos (Fluid Territories), a self-managed collective of TLGBQIA+ migrants and refugees in Rio de Janeiro. Currently, they serve as a community organizer for LGBT+Movimento and are part of the PPGCine program at UFF (Federal Fluminense University).
