Anita Barbosa

Director of the feature film Amor.com, Anita Barbosa's most recent works include the two seasons of the series Matches (Warner/Max) and the film Se Eu Fosse Você 3 (Disney – currently in post-production).

With over 20 years of experience in the audiovisual industry, she began her career as an Assistant Director on the feature film Viva Zapato, directed by Luiz Carlos Lacerda in 2002. Her resumé as an Assistant Director includes blockbuster films such as Divã a 2 (2015), Eu Fico Loko (2016), Tudo por um Pop Star (2018), Crô em Família (2018), Os Parças 2 (2019), Ricos de Amor (2019), Diários de Intercâmbio (Netflix, 2020), Um Ano Inesquecível - Outono (Amazon, 2021), and Um Ano Inesquecível - Verão (Second Unit Director – Amazon, 2021).

She has also worked as an Assistant Director on major Brazilian productions, including Se Eu Fosse Você (2006), Primo Basílio (2007), Se Eu Fosse Você 2 (2009), Divã (2009), Chico Xavier (2010), De Pernas pro Ar (2010), Assalto ao Banco Central (2011), Confissões de Adolescente: O Filme (2013), S.O.S. Mulheres ao Mar 1 and 2 (2014, 2016), and Medida Provisória, by Lázaro Ramos (2020).
