Letícia Pires is a director, author, and filmmaker, focusing on childhood and the presence of children on screen as the core of her research. With a degree in Cinema and a Master’s degree in Literature from PUC-Rio, she advocates for child agency in various works. She has directed award-winning short films and music videos, coordinated the Pensar a Infância forum for 7 years, and curated two editions of the Rio Book Biennial. Her first feature film, "Clarice Vê Estrelas", selected for Goes to Cannes 2025, is scheduled to premiere in 2026.
