Documentary Screening (China): Echoes of Xizang

The documentary Xizang Rhapsody follows the lives of a diverse group of young professionals on the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau, a region with an average altitude of 4,000 meters above sea level. The film features a local traditional street dance crew, Lhasa's pioneer skateboarding team, an innovative entrepreneur dedicated to high-altitude coffee cultivation, and a passionate teacher working to bring quality picture books to local children.

Driven by their own convictions, these young people challenge stereotypes about life on the plateau and, together, reflect the dynamic development of Tibetan society and culture. They demonstrate how contemporary youth are forging new connections between their traditional cultural roots and global trends.
