In 1973, while filming for German television, Jorge Bodanzky captured a striking image: a large maloca deep in the Amazon rainforest, surrounded by isolated Indigenous people shooting arrows at his plane. Half a century later, the footage, recovered by the Moreira Salles Institute, takes the filmmaker back to Aripuanã. The film bridges past and present, exploring his journey and the mysteries of the Amazon through his countless reels of Super-8.
